Dated August 4, 1940 U - 52 suffered serious damage after being hit by a depth bomb launched from ships caught British convoy escort , and it took 4 months to fix it .
Unlike almost all other U -boats , U - 52 did not end tragically drowned in the ocean along with its crew attacked enemy or accident or other cases , but deliberately destroyed because it was about time . Until now, ' death ' , not a kapalpun crew killed or wounded ! At least , that's according to the official records ...
