Albums Focke-Wulf Fw 58 Weihe "Harrier"


Interesting camouflage pattern shown by plane Focke Wulf Fw-58 A-0 (Stkz. KK + UB, Werknummer 1198) which is a personal transport equipment belonging to Professor Kurt Tank who is the head designer of Focke-Wulf. This photo was taken in the summer of 1943 at the airfield Focke-Wulf factory in Bad Eilsen. Note the small winding pattern with color sand (?) As well as the white band at the back of the "Weihe". Both of these indicate that the aircraft had just returned from the Mediterranean. KK + UB first reported its existence in Bremen in 1939 and is one of several courier plane that is used to traveling by prof. Kurt Tank
